If you look hard enough in the world around you, you can find some pretty outrageous stuff. Take these spiders, for instance. Either these aren’t real, or Mother Nature has gotten her hands on a Bedazzler.

Typing “pretty” and “spiders” in the same sentence may feel wrong, but there’s no other way to describe these amazing arachnids. I know what you’re thinking, and I promise there isn’t any Photoshop involved. (I was shocked, too.)

Each of these photos shows off a different flashy member from one of the several different species of the thwaitesia genus, which is where they get that patchwork-mirror effect on their abdomen. Wow.
